Hydro Jetting in San Antonio, TX
Hydro jetting sends water through your line at high pressure and scours the pipe wall clean. Grease, scale and roots get washed away, not just poked through.
Why this happens
Here is the difference. Snaking punches a hole through a clog so water can pass. Jetting scrubs the entire pipe so there is nothing left to catch the next load. That matters for lines that back up every season. Kitchen grease stacks up in layers. Roots return to the joint they found last time. Cast iron flakes off scale that narrows the bore. The nozzle drives forward and fires jets backward, cleaning the full circle of the pipe. It is great for buildup and bad for broken pipe, which is why we scope first.

While you wait for us
Out here on the west side
Hydro Jetting near Alamo Ranch and Westover Hills
On the far west side, grease is the top reason we jet newer homes. PVC handles it fine, but a family that cooks a lot can coat a kitchen line in just a few years, and a jetter clears it safely. In Westlakes and the older blocks near Lackland, root-filled cast iron and clay are more common, and a good jetting can hold off a repair for a while.
Hydro Jetting FAQ
Is jetting safe for older lines?
Yes, for pipe in reasonable shape. If the camera shows cracks or a collapse, we will not jet it and we will talk repair instead.
Do I need jetting every year?
Most homes never do. Lines with known roots or heavy grease might benefit now and then.
Will jetting kill the roots?
It shaves them off at the pipe wall. They can return through a damaged joint, and fixing that joint is the long-term answer.
