Gas Line Installation in San Antonio, TX
Want gas for a range, dryer, patio kitchen, fire pit, tankless heater or standby generator? We run the line, size it right, pressure test it and get it inspected.
Why this happens
Gas piping is sized like a budget. Add up every burner that could fire at once, then make sure the pipe and meter can pay for it. Problems show up when a tankless heater, a big range and a patio grill all tap into a line that was only meant for a furnace and a water tank. You get lazy flames, error codes, or one appliance that sputters when another lights. We do the math on total load, pipe length, meter size and material before we pick anything.

Gas Line Installation near Alamo Ranch and Westover Hills
Outdoor cooking spaces and fire pits are popular in Alamo Ranch and Westover Hills, and standby generators took off after the 2021 freeze. Buried gas runs out here have to weave around sprinkler lines and respect HOA rules. CPS Energy serves most of the far west side with natural gas, and some rural lots past the city edge run on propane. We work on both.
Gas Line Installation FAQ
Do I need a permit for a gas line?
In most cases, yes, with an inspection. We handle the paperwork.
Can you pipe gas out to my patio?
Yes. We size it, route it safely and put a shutoff right by the appliance.
What is CSST?
Yellow-jacketed flexible stainless gas tubing. It installs fast but needs proper bonding to the electrical system.
