Shower Installation in San Antonio, TX

Your tile setter will thank us. We put the valve at the proper depth, the heads where you want them, and test it all before the walls close.

Why this happens

The shower you see is tile and glass. The shower you live with is decided by what goes in before the tile. Valve depth decides whether your handle sits flush or floats an inch off the wall. Drain placement decides whether the pan sheds water or holds a puddle. Pipe size decides whether that rain head pours or drizzles. We do a lot of bathroom remodels, tub-out walk-in conversions for older family members, and old two-knob valve upgrades.

What our crew checks

  1. Matching parts

Valve body and trim confirmed as the same brand and line.

  2. Finished wall math

We add up board, mortar and tile so the valve lands flush.

  3. Drain spot

Set to suit the pan or base, with the trap reachable if we can manage it.

  4. Water supply

Pipe size and heater output reviewed before extra heads go on.

  5. Leak test

Capped and pressurized before a single tile goes up.

Ways we can fix it

Option 1

Cosmetic refresh

The valve stays put. You get a fresh handle, spout and showerhead.

Option 2

Valve upgrade

Swap in a pressure-balance or thermostatic valve for steady temperature.

Option 3

Complete rough-in

New layout, zero-entry floor, or tub removal during a remodel.

While you wait for us

Quick tip from the crewHold on to the boxes and spec sheets for any valve or trim you have bought. If a tile installer or remodeler is on the job, pass along their contact info so we can line up wall depth and timing.

Shower Installation near Alamo Ranch and Westover Hills

Two-story plans rule in Alamo Ranch, Hunters Ranch and Westpointe. The primary shower is often upstairs, and the water heater is all the way down in the garage. Add a big rain head to that long run and you can come up short, so we check pipe and heater before we design anything. Relocating a slab drain can call for a permit, and being inside or outside city limits changes the rules. We sort that out for you.

Shower Installation FAQ

Can you work with my tile setter's schedule?

Yes. We rough in, they tile, and we return to set trim and test.

Which valve type should I get?

Pressure-balance stops sudden scalding when someone flushes. Thermostatic lets you dial in an exact temperature and adjust flow separately.

Will new trim fit my current valve?

Only within the same brand family. We confirm it before you order.
